STAGE PERFORMANCES
THE LAURENCE OLIVIER AWARDS
Anthony is the host of The Laurence Olivier
Awards which will take place at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on March 21st, 2010.
This year's Awards will be shown live at 6.30pm via a player on the Laurence Olivier *website. It is the first time
the awards have been shown as and when they happen. Theatre, dance and opera lovers will
have the opportunity to be part of the ceremony and to watch the winners take the stage at
the awards.
Online voting is now in the final stages for
the Audience Award for Most Popular Show, a new award for 2010. It is the only category
voted for entirely by the public and the five shows on the shortlist are: Billy Elliot The
Musical, The Phantom of the Opera, War Horse, We Will Rock You and Wicked. Audience
members can vote for their favourite at the Olivier *website.
The Awards will also be broadcast live on BBC

SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION Anthony is appearing in the role of John Flanders Kittredge in John
Guare's 'Six Degrees of Separation' at the Old Vic theatre, The Cut, London, SE1 8NB, from
January 8th - April 3rd, 2010.
Stage and screen star Lesley Manville plays
Ouisa and David Grindley is directing the production. The company also features Obi Abili
(Paul) along with Sarah Goldberg, Michael Goldsmith, Ilan Goodman, Steven Pacey, Sara
Stewart, Paul Stocker and Kevin Trainor.

CORFU DONKEY RESCUE APPEAL
Corfu Donkey Rescue has launched an
international appeal to raise €150,000. Time is running out. CDR has to relocate to
new premises. This means purchasing land, acquiring licenses, and building stables,
hospital and hay barns. If this target is not achieved Corfu Donkey Rescue will have to
close its doors and evict its 50+ four-legged residents. Please check out the CDR *website for more details on how

fully appreciate that there are many, many people and animals world wide in desperate need

help them all but sadly that is an impossible task. Sarah and I are supporting Alfie as
his owners were unable to pay for the treatment and as a result Alfie has been 'adopted'
by countless dog owners around the UK who are all joining forces to help this gorgeous

| GILES THE DONKEY'S ADVENTURE TO RAISE FUNDS
FOR 'SAFE HAVEN FOR DONKEYS IN THE HOLY LAND*** Giles, a cuddly knitted donkey, has begun a world-wide journey to
raise much-need funds for Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land.
Giles, who is named after Anthony's character on Buffy the
Vampire Slayer, began his journey at the home of Anthony and Sarah. It is hoped that this
will be the start of many adventures for the intrepid Giles, who even has his own blog to
share photos and details of his travels. You can visit his blog *here.
