Fundraiser for Giles 2 and Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land

We are pleased to announce that Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land have rescued another donkey, named Giles 2. This is what Lucy Fensom, founder of SHADH, said about his rescue:

"We were called to rescue Giles the second when somebody called to report "a poor abused donkey standing alone by a road side." He is a white, grey colour and about six years old and his back and chest are heavily scarred and scabbed. He is extremely nervous of humans as he has obviously suffered deeply. I hope that, with time, he will become less wary of us and find some little friends with his new companions..."

Are you looking for the perfect gift? Why not make a donation to 'Safe Haven for Donkeys in the Holy Land' and help towards Giles 2's veterinary care? No amount is too small, but all donations over *£10.00 will receive a certificate, signed by Anthony, sent to your friend, relative or yourself, inscribed with words of congratulations and thanks for helping Giles 2 and other donkeys in distress in Israel.

In Memory of Giles the Donkey

IN MEMORY OF GILES 1

A MESSAGE FROM ANTHONY AND SARAH

"It is with great sadness that we read news from SHADH that Giles the donkey died on Friday evening, December 3rd, 2004. We are continuing with the fundraising for SHADH who will no doubt be rescuing Giles the Second in the near future. Giles' death highlights the importance of the much valued work carried out tirelessly by Lucy and her team in a difficult and often challenging situation to ensure that Donkeys can continue to be rescued. Although Giles had been too badly neglected to save, his last month was spent in peace surrounded by kind and caring people. In memory of this little donkey we will do whatever we can to raise funds and awareness to help promote and support the work of SHADH. Please continue to help where you can.

With best wishes and grateful thanks, Anthony and Sarah"
